1. Procedures
Each race day, the line up in each class will be made by a random drawing of playing cards.
The 1st Heat will be lined up according to the drawing.
The 2nd Heat will be lined up the reverse of the drawing.
The 3rd Heat will be lined up according to the accumulated points from the first two heats. High point cars to the back, Low Point cars to the front. In the event of a tie in points between two cars, the lineup will be decided by a flip of a coin or if more then 2 cars, a draw from a hat.
The Feature race will be lined up according to accumulated points from the Heat races, in the same manner as the third Heat.
If a driver receives a flying black flag in any race, there will be no points awarded for that race and the car will start at the back of the pack for the rest of the day.
On a caution, cars will be lined up according to the last lap completed, with the car causing the caution at the back of the pack.
Heat races with four cars or less will be 7 laps, five cars or more will be 10 laps.
Feature races will be two times the cars participating plus 2 laps with a minimum of 15 laps and a maximum of 25 laps, unless it is determined to be more or less at the driver's meeting.
There will be 10 points awarded for a a Heat race win and each car placing behind the winner will receive one point less in order of finish.
There will be 30 points awarded for a Feature win and each car finishing behind the winner will receive two points less in order of finish.
Mechanic and Powder Puff races will not accumulate car points but the drivers will accumulate points in the respective class the same as for a normal Heat race.
The Novelty races will not accumulate any car or driver points but the winner will receive either some type of monetary or other prize as determined that day.
In the event that non OSCA member cars are racing, the OSCA member cars will accumulate points towards their annual totals, however the non member cars will not.. (i.e. If an OSCA member car finishes behind two non member cars, the OSCA member car will be recorded as finishing in first place.
